AppleCare+ is another extension of coverage for Apple products as well, but for a longer period than the standard one-year warranty. It covers iPhone devices for 2 years, iPad for 2 years, Mac for 3 years, iPod touch for 2 years, Apple Watch for 2 years, Apple Watch Edition and Apple Watch Hermès for 3 years from the date of purchase. It will protect both technical and hardware aspects as well as software support. You will get 24/7 priority access to Apple experts via chat or phone. However, it is a pity that AppleCare+ is not available to users in Thailand. For those who are abroad and use Apple device that meets the protection criteria, you can view more information and purchase additional warranty via the AppleCare+ website within 60 days and 30 days (for Japan) from the date of purchase of the device.
Therefore, the difference between AppleCare and AppleCare+ is the type of the device protected. AppleCare sold in Thailand provides protection for two less Apple devices than AppleCare+ sold elsewhere, namely Apple Watch and iPhone.
